The Yemeni air defences have shot down a spy drone belonging to the Saudi-led coalition in Hajjah province, northwestern Yemen, the army spokesman said in a statement.
Army spokesman, Brigadier General Yahya Sare’e, affirmed the air defences werr able to down a US Scan Eagle spy drone, operated by the Saudi Air Force, while it was carrying out hostile actions over the airspace of Hardh district on Monday morning.

“The drone was downed with a suitable weapon,” he added.
On Friday, the Yemeni air defences shot down two spy reconnaissance planes belongings to the Saudi-led coalition forces in Ma’rib and Jawf provinces.
