UAE using external workers to unload suspicious cargo in Socotra

UAE occupation forces replaced the workers of Hadibo port, the capital of the island of Socotra, with others from outside, in order to unload one of its suspicious ships that arrived last week, informed sources said on Saturday.

The sources stated that the workers brought in by the Emirati forces to the port unloaded the Emirati ship’s cargo without subjecting it to inspection and customs.

A dispute arose between the port workers and the administration, which caused the ship’s unloading to be stopped, and raised suspicions among the workers because it contained materials prohibited from entering the island.

The sources explained that the UAE had used members of the Southern Transitional Council militia to unload the ship’s cargo after the departure of the workers.

The UAE emptied its ship, which contains military equipment and communications equipment, under heavy guard, and transferred it to Hadibo Airport, which the UAE has turned into a joint military base with the Zionist entity after announcing its relationship with “Israel” in mid-August 2020.
