Yemeni army forces managed on Saturday to regain control of the Al-Huthirah area, one of the villages in the Jizan region, southern Saudi Arabia, Yemen Press Agency reported.
This came after a large-scale attack that the army forces launched on the sites of the Saudi army and the Saudi-led coalition forces in Najran, the sources explained.
After fierce battles that left many dead and injured between the two sides, the Yemeni army forces took control the Al-Huthirah area, the sources added.
Yemeni forces also carried out a new operation towards the Saudi army positions in Al-Mousam area of Al-Tuwal province, southwestern Saudi Arabia.
