Violent explosions rocked Yemen’s southern port city of Yemen in conjunction with the arrival of UN goodwill ambassador and American actress Angelina Jolie on Sunday.
According to the local sources, the explosions took place in Dar Saad district due to fierce infighting between the coalition mercenary factions in the vicinity of the Police Station in the same.
The sources explained that members of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia attacked the Police station in Dar Saad with various types of bombs.
The clashes left at least four people dead and wounded, the sources added.
The clashes came amid escalating conflicts between the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC)’s factions.
