Dozens of African migrants have condemned the United Nations’ neglect of their suffering resulting from their poor living conditions in the occupied southern Yemeni governorates.
Local media reported that the African migrants organised a protest in front of the UNHCR headquarters in Khormaksar, Aden, on Tuesday.
The protest coincided with the departure of United Nations Goodwill Ambassador Angelina Jolie from the city of Aden. The migrants said that they are suffering tragic conditions, deprivation of services and healthcare, and accused the UNHCR of corruption.
They stressed that they will continue their protests until the improvement of their conditions is achieved.
