Terrorist organisation Al-Qaeda in the Arabian Peninsula (AQAP)has on Thursday mourned one of its most prominent military leaders, who was killed by the Yemeni Armed Forces fire in Ma’rib province.
A statement issued by Al-Qaeda’s Jihad Base said that the Shaker Mansour Ahmed Sharhan, who had a long state of service in the ranks of the terrorist organisation, was killed south of Ma’rib city .
Al-Qaeda’s statement clarified that Sharhan fought to the death in service of the Saudi-led coalition forces, refusing to surrender to the Yemeni forces on the outskirts of Abida valley.
