The Russian Defence Ministry announced on Wednesday that its military forces have disabled 90% of Ukraine’s military aerodromes and 2,786 sites of infrastructure during the special military operation against the Kiev government.
“The destroyed Ukrainian military facilities include two combatant commands, 6 anti-aircraft missile systems and 4 caches,” Defence Ministry spokesperson Igor Konashenkov said in a press briefing.
The Defence Ministry spokesperson further informed that Ukraine’s losses counted 953 tanks and other armoured vehicles, 351 pieces of artillery and mortar systems, 101 rocket artillery systems, 718 military vehicles and 93 drones.
“At the start of the special operation, the Ukrainian Air Force had as many as 250 serviceable combat aircraft and helicopters. Russia’s Aerospace Forces have destroyed 89 combat aircraft and 57 helicopters on the ground and in the air,” Konashenkov added.
