Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali al-Houthi, revealed on Thursday that nearly 500 prisoners have been released.
This coincides with the continuation of the prisoner release campaign launched before the Islamic holy month of Ramadan.
Al-Houthi said in a tweet that “the release campaign is still going on at the directives of the Attorney General.”

The release comes as part of Sayyid Abduli-Malik al-Houthi’s orders, ahead of the holy month of Ramadan, in which he preached forgiveness and solidarity with prisoners.
