President of the Supreme Political Council of Yemen, Mahdi al-Mashat, had on Saturday affirmed that the Yemeni people would not stand idly by in case of a continued siege by the Saudi-led coalition forces, and vowed that “a response is inevitable.”
“The Yemeni people know who is behind their suffering and who is besieging and assaulting them,” President al-Mashat said while chairing a meeting of the National Salvation Government in Sana’a.
President of Yemen Mahdi al-Mashat added that “the coalition added to the siege and aggression a scheme to stir up chaos and lawlessness from within.”
He referred to the fact that the coalition forces had prepared a plan to target the people with car bombs, explosions, and mass killings.
“The deaf and dumb world must hear the voice of our people before they hear their roar,” the President said.
