The Yemeni Minister of Information, Daifallah al-Shami, has on Tuesday called for wide participation in a Twitter campaigh which will start at 8:00 PM on Wednesday, to mark the passage of 7 years of the US-Saudi-Emirati aggression and siege on Yemen.
The Information Minister noted the importance of participating in the campaign, which will be in Arabic, English, French, German and Spanish, in order to expose the aggression crimes against the Yemeni people and to highlight Yemen’s popular steadfastness.
Minister al-Shami stressed the importance of the campaign to expose the United Nations silence and complicity, and the direct US role in the aggression against Yemen.
He urged all media personnel, activists and those of good conscience around the world to broaden participation in the campaign tweeting the two hashtags:
#7YearsOfWarOnYemen and
#National_Steadfastness_Day
