The Yemeni Petroleum Company (YPC) in Sana’a has on Wednesday announced that the Saudi-led coalition had detained a third emergency fuel ship named Sundus, and prevented it from reaching the port of Hodeidah.
The company’s spokesman, Issam al-Mutawakel, said in a tweet that “the US-Saudi-led coalition seized the third emergency ship, carrying 32,331 tons of gasoline.”

Al-Mutawakel added that the coalition detained the ship and prevented it from reaching the port of Hodeidah, despite it having been inspected and having obtained an entry permit from the United Nations.
The spokesman noted that the number of oil ships that have been held by the coalition had already risen to four so far.
