Yemen celebrates tenth anniversary of Al-Masirah news network

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al-Masirah Network confirmed that the past 10 years since the launch of the Al-Masirah news channel “were full of important stations and events,” noting that “it came from the heart of suffering.”

Speaking at the tenth anniversary of the launch of Al-Masirah TV, Mohammed Abdulsalam said: “We faced many challenges, foremost of which were the prevention of broadcasting, warning measures and confiscation of devices that were difficult to obtain”.

“Al-Masirah faced challenges in construction, rehabilitation, programming and training under the former regime, in addition to the challenge of the security and military presence, targeting and incitement,” Abdulsalam said, pointing out that it was “an sample of what Yemeni people suffer from attempts to silence their voice.”

Mohammed Abdulsalam pointed out that “some members of the network were killed and others have gone missing, and the US-Saudi aggression bombed the Al-Masirah building in Dahyan on the first day of the aggression.”

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Al-Masirah Network revealed that the network was also targeted by satellite, and the US-Saudi aggression paid 30 million dollars to bring down the channel for only one month.

Mohammad Abdulsalam reiterated that “Al-Masirah Media Network represents an interface that every follower can evaluate in its free performance against the US-Israeli project,” pointing out that the network’s position is firm on the side of the Palestinian people and their just cause.

He continued, “We assure the leadership of the state and the free people of our people that” “Al-Masirah will stand in the face of all challenges in the face of lies and continue in the fields of resistance.”

The Chairman of the Board of Directors of the Network thanked the Leader of the Revolution, Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, whom the Network still continues to follow.

He also expressed his thanks and appreciation to all the employees of the Al-Masirah network, in addition to those who stood by the channel in the development represented by the Federation of Islamic Channels and Radios.
