The Yemeni Organising Committee of Events has called on the Yemeni people to participate in the mass rallies to be held Saturday’s afternoon in Sana’a and other provinces to mark the seventh anniversary of Yemeni steadfastness in the face of the brutal US-backed Saudi-Emirati aggression.
The committee has set the Bab al-Yemen Square in the capital Sana’a as a place for National Steadfastness Day rally, and another square west of Al-Thawra Park for the women’s march on Saturday afternoon.
The committee stressed the important of taking part in mass rallies at the level of the Secretariat of the Capital and the provinces, to commemorate the National Day of Steadfastness and the passage of seven years of resilience in the face of aggression.
Seven years ago, on 27 March 2015, the Saudi-UAE coalition declared war on Yemen, and had since launched 274,243 raids targeting homes, schools, mosques, hospitals, roads, farms, factories, and both government and private institutions, resulting in the death of tens of thousands of Yemenis.
