Iran honours Yemeni resistance on seventh anniversary of Saudi invasion

Iran has lit up its historic landmarks with pictures of the leaders of Ansarullah movement and the flags of Yemen.

This coincides with the seventh anniversary of the Saudi-led war and in showcase of international solidarity.

Yemen’s ambassador to Iran, Ibrahim al-Dailami, published a series of photographs of the group’s founder Sayyid Hussein al-Houthi and current leader Sayyid Abdul-Malik al-Houthi, as well as that of martyred President Saleh al-Sammad and others.

The photographs were lit up in Azadi Square, one of Tehran’s most important squares.

The ambassador thanked the Municipality of Tehran for the move.
