A physician from the Al-Sabiha area of Lahj province, was murdered by unknown gunmen on Wednesday, in the second assassination that took place in the past 24 hours in the port city of Aden, which is controlled by the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC).
Human rights sources said that unidentified gunmen shot and killed doctor Mohammad Majdi al-Shaabi al-Subaihi on the coast of Abyan in Khor Maksar area of Aden.
The assassination comes after a similar attempt to kill the so-called Security Belt militia leader in Al-Mansoura, Ismail al-Sabihi, and a successful assassination of the Security Belt leader in Sheikh Othman district, Karam al-Mashreqi al-Radfani.
The city of Aden is witnessing a wave of assassinations among the regional STC factions funded by the UAE, amid a state of chaos and lawlessness.
