Dozens of Israeli settlers on Thursday have forced their way into the Al-Aqsa Mosque complex in occupied East al-Quds (Jerusalem), under a heavy protection of the occupation army.
According to the Islamic Waqf Service, 85 settlers broke into Al-Aqsa through al-Mughrabi gate and carried out provocative tours of its courtyards.
This comes following calls made by the settlers for large-scale incursions and the approaching of the so-called Easter Offering into the Al-Aqsa Mosque.
The Al-Aqsa Mosque is subjected to constant incursions by settlers and enemy police, as well as attempts to completely destroy the mosque and sanctuary by Zionist extremists and fanatics.
Al-Aqsa has been subjected almost daily to settler incursions under the protection of Zionist military forces, especially in the morning and evening periods.
