The first commercial flight to Sana’a International Airport since the start of the Saudi-led invasion in 2015 will be operated on Sunday, The General Civil Aviation Authority (GCAA) has announced.
“The United Nations has informed the Ministry of Foreign Affairs that the first commercial flight from Sana’a International Airport to Queen Alia Airport in Jordan has been approved for Sunday, April 24, at 8:00 a.m.,” The Spokesman of GCAA, Dr. Mazen Ghanem told the official Yemeni news agency Saba on Wednesday.
He said that Yemenia Airways will start making reservations for that flight from today, and that priority will be given for patients.
