Member of the Yemeni national negotiation delegation, Abdul-Malik al-Ajri, has criticised “the poor performance of the United Nations in implementing the terms of the humanitarian truce in Yemen.”
Al-Ajri said on Twitter that “The daily violations and non-commitment to implementing all of the truce’s terms by the Saudi-led coalition forces, have proven the UN’s weakness in exerting real measures on the coalition. A review of its role must have reconsidered.”
كان يفترض أن تستثمر الهدنة لبحث ملفات رفع الحصار وإنهاء الحرب الا أن الاداء الهزيل والضعيف جدا للامم المتحدة وبعثتها الخاصة مع الهدنة يوجب إعادة النظر في دورها،ومن ذلك إشراك أطراف اقليمية أو دولية محايدة في رعاية أي إتفاق وضمان تنفيذه.

He called for the involvement of neutral regional or international parties in sponsoring any future agreement in order to ensure its implementation.
