A member of the Yemeni delegation for political consultations, Abdul-Malik al-Ajri, has confirmed that “every day that passes since the truce period, it closes one of the windows for peace.”
“We wanted to use the armistice as an opportunity to move forward and resolve the issues related to lifting the siege and stopping the war, but the countries of aggression turned it into a setback that set back peace efforts,”Abdul-Malik al-Ajri said in a tweet.

كنا نريد الهدنة فرصة للتقدم للأمام وحسم الملفات المتعلقة برفع الحصار ووقف الحرب،الا أن دول العدوان حولتها لانتكاسة أعادت السلام الى مربعات مظلمة.

Al-Ajri stressed that “there is a miscalculation of the position of Sana’a by the coalition. Soon they will realise their mistake, but by then it will be too late.”
