In mid-April, 10 al-Qaeda members detained in a prison in the city of Seiyun were smuggled out.
According to press sources, a number of the terrorist organisation’s emirs fleeing the Seiyun prison arrived under a heavy protection at the headquarters of the so-called Third Military Region in Ma’rib.
The Saudi-led coalition has made extensive use of Al-Qaeda terrorists for its war against the National Salvation Government of Yemen over the past years.
