The head of the Prisoners’ Affairs Committee Abdulqadir al-Murtadha, has called on Tuesday on countries of aggression to stop trading and bidding in regards to the issue of prisoners, as it is a humanitarian file.
Al-Murtadha said in a statement that “After Saudi Arabia claimed to present an initiative to release some of our prisoners, we were informed of a disclosure that includes a number of names other than what was announced. Moreover, these names are not among our prisoners and are unknown to us.”
“In turn, we have informed the Red Cross that we have nothing to do with these people, and ask that the countries of aggression must stop bartering about the file of prisoners.”
