Land transport authority condemns continued Saudi blocking of roads

The General Authority for Regulating Land Transport Affairs has affirmed that a line extending from al- Mabrz and Jabal Rass to the district of Hays in Yemen’s western province of Hodeidah, which is under control of the National Salvation Government is open and accessible for all passengers and citizens at any time.

In a statement, the authority condemned the harassment and difficulties encountered by travelers and citizens due to the failure of the coalition’s  mercenaries to implement the humanitarian truce regarding  roads and outlets in the coalition-held areas, which constitutes an obstacle to the movement of passengers and citizens and commercial goods.

The coalition, through its mercenaries still continue to disregard and procrastinate the implementation of the humanitarian truce.

The Authority pointed out that the revolutionary leadership, the Supreme Political Council and the National Salvation Government have sought every possible means to end the suffering and make concessions after concessions in opening the road traffic outlets, in order to facilitate movement of all citizens and travelers.

The Authority called on the United Nations to put  pressure on the coalition-backed government to stop obstructing the movement of passengers and cargo trucks on the vital line linking  the provinces of Hodeidah with Taiz.
