Two Iranian pilots were killed on Tuesday, when a jet fighter crashed during training in eastern Isfahan, central Iran.
According to IRNA, an F-7 jet fighter crashed east of Isfahan, central Iran, killing two people on board, Deputy Governor of Isfahan for Political, Security, and Social Affairs said on Tuesday.
Mohammad Reza Jan-Nesari said the accident took place near Anarak. He added that the fighter’s mission was one of training, and noted that experts are investigating the reason behind the accident.
Pilot Major Qasem Zamani and co-pilot First Lieutenant Mohammad Javad Bai were both killed in the accident.
