Texas Senator Roland Gutierrez has said that the death toll from an elementary school shooting in the state has risen to 18 children and three adults, CNN reported.
Earlier, Governor Greg Abbott announced that “at least 14 pupils and teachers were killed in a mass shooting at Rob Elementary School in Uvalde.”
He noted that the shooter was a 18-year-old student at Uvalde High School.
US media reported that the attacker had shot his grandmother before the incident, and injured two police officers.
