Yemeni President Mahdi Al-Mashat sent a cable of congratulations to the President of the Lebanese Republic, Michel Aoun, on the twenty-second anniversary of Resistance and Liberation Day.
According to Saba news agency, President Al-Mashat stressed in his congratulations that the Lebanese victory over Zionist occupation in 2000 represented “a milestone in the history of the conflict with the Israeli enemy.”
“The victory opened an era full of hope for more victories after decades of setbacks,” he added. “The nation became confident in defeating its historical enemy and restoring all of its stolen and usurped rights.”
