The US-backed Saudi-led coalition forces and their mercenaries committed 218 violations of the UN-brokered humanitarian and military truce during the past 24 hours, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported, citing a military source on Saturday .
The official added the aggression’s violations included 58 flights of armed reconnaissance and spy aircrafts in the airspace of Ma’rib, Taiz, Hajjah, Jawf, Saada, Dhalea and Bayda provinces and the border fronts.
He confirmed that the mercenaries of the aggression established combat fortifications around the vicinity of the city of Ma’rib and carried out an infiltration operation on the sites of the army and popular committees in Tabat al-Hanajer in al-Fakher area in Dhalea province, and 2 offensive operations on the sites of the army and popular committees in al-Balaq and Rawdat al-Jahanam areas in Ma’rib province.
He said that 44 violations were recorded with missile and artillery bombardment, as the mercenaries targeted with 5 Katyusha missiles on the sites of the army and popular committees in al-Balq al-Sharqi and Rawdat Jahanem areas in Ma’rib province.
The mercenaries targeted intensely the sites of the army and popular committees in al-Balaq al-Sharq, al-Rawdah, Rawdat al-Jhannam and Mala’a areas in Ma’rib province, in Haradh and Bani Hassan areas in Hajjah province, in al-Malahith area in Saada province, and in Bab Ghalq area in Dhalea province.
He stated that the mercenaries of the aggression hit intensely the sites of the army and committees in al-Amoud site in Wadi Gara area in Jizan region.
The official stated that 112 violations were recorded by shooting at the citizens’ houses and the sites of the army and popular committees in Ma’rib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Dhalea, and the border fronts.
