Another 146 Saudi truce violations registered across Yemen

The US-backed Saudi-led coalition forces and their mercenaries committed 146 violations of the UN-brokered humanitarian and military truce during the past 24 hours, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported, citing a military source on  Thursday.

According to the source, the coalition’s violations included 6 sorties of hostile warplanes in the airspace of Al-Beqaa Valley, Shabaka, Al-Omda, Al-Souh, Al-Shorfa and Al-Far`a areas in Najran region, and 62 sorties of spy planes in the airspace of the provinces, of Ma’rib, Taiz, Hajjah, Jawf, Saada, Dhalea, and Bayda and the border fronts.

He noted that 4 violations of the coalition forces were monitored with air strikes by armed reconnaissance aircraft on the homes of citizens and the positions of the army and the popular committees in Al-Barh area in Taiz, and the creation of fortifications in the vicinity of Ma’rib city and in the east of Tabbat Al-Shubel in Al-Tina area in Hajjah.

The source pointed out that 56 violations by shooting at the homes of citizens and the positions of the army and the popular committees were recorded in Ma’rib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Dhalea, and Bayda and the border fronts, as well as 18 violations of artillery shelling on Ma’rib, Hajjah, Saada and the border fronts.
