The US-backed Saudi-led coalition forces have committed 171 violations of the humanitarian and military truce, during the past 24 hours, the official Yemeni news agency Saba reported, citing a military source on Sunday.
A source explained that the violations included five violations by the flight of hostile and Apache warplanes in the airspace of Beqaa, Shabakah, Al-Sharqiah, Al-Souh and Al-Fara in Najran region, and 52 violations by the flight of armed and spying reconnaissance aircraft over the airspace of the provinces of Ma’rib, Taiz, Hajjah, Jawf, Saada, Dhalea, Hodeidah, and Bayda, and the border fronts.
The source indicated that two violations were monitored by air strikes on the homes of citizens and the sites of the army and committees in Al-Barah area in Taiz and in Rawdhat Jahm in Ma’rib, while 6 violations were monitored by creating fortifications in Jizan and in Al-Sukinah and Beqaa areas in Najran, and breaches by creating fortifications in the vicinity of the city of Ma’rib, in Al-Rosi hill in Al-Dhabab area in Taiz, and in the east of Hays district in Hodeidah.
A violation was recorded with an offensive operation on the sites of the army and the popular committees in the eastern Balaq in Ma’rib, while 88 violations were monitored by shooting at the homes of citizens and the sites of the army and the popular committees in the provinces of Ma’rib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Dhalea, and Hodeidah and the border fronts, according to the source.
The source indicated that the coalition forces committed 17 violations by artillery shelling on the sites of the army and the popular committees in the provinces of Ma’rib, Hajjah, Saada, Hodeidah and the border fronts in Najran and Jizan.
