Saudi-led coalition seizes another fuel ship, in violation of UN truce

The Yemen Petroleum Company (YPC) had announced that the US-Saudi aggression detained a new oil vessel, thereby violating the UN-sponsored humanitarian and military truce.

The official spokesman for the company, Essam Al-Mutawakil, stated that in conjunction with the release of the diesel ship Sea Heart, the gasoline ship Sundus was seized in a new and clear violation of the UN-sponsored truce.

The YPC Spokesman pointed out that the US-Saudi aggression forcibly took the ship off the coast of Jizan, despite its inspection and obtaining UN entry permits, stressing that the United Nations “did not put an end to piracy, whether before or during the announced truce.”

Despite the ongoing UN-sponsored truce, the coalition of aggression continues its piracy, detaining fuel ships, and preventing them from entering the port of Hodeidah, despite these ships having undergone inspection and having received UN clearance.
