Yemeni media categorically condemns Zionist journalist visit to Mecca

The Yemeni Media Union (YMU) has on Tuesday condemned the Saudi regime’s decision to allow a correspondent of the Hebrew Channel 13 to enter the city of Mecca, touring and filming in the Grand Mosque.

The union said, in a statement, “The Saudi regime’s allowing of media affiliated with the Zionist enemy entity to roam in the holy Islamic sites in Arafat and others, is a step that is considered one of the greatest crimes that defile the Grand Mosque.”

The statement added that this step is “a crime contrary to Islamic principles that forbid Jews and polytheists to enter the Holy Land.”

The union called on all media professionals in various Islamic countries to condemn the Saudi regime action and demand it to apologise to the nation and to stop the deliberate desecration of the Sacred House of Allah, which affects Islamic principles and sanctities, foremost of which are the Great Mosque of Mecca and Medina.
