The heavy rains witnessed by Ma’rib province on Monday  that caused torrential floods in all areas and damage to the farms and properties of citizens and the roads in Harib Al-Qaramish and Sirwah districts, the Yemeni News Agency (Saba) reported, citing a local source

The flow of torrents from a number of valleys and hills resulted in the washing away of dozens of farms, the land filling of wells, solar energy systems and hand pumps, the demolition of houses, the erosion of sub-ways and main roads, and the death of sheep and livestock, the local source explained.
