Abdul Qadir al-Murtadha, the head of the National Committee for Prisoners’ Affairs in Sana’a, said that the round of negotiations on the prisoners’ file concluded in Amman, Jordan.
“We discussed the obstacles that prevented the implementation of the UN-sponsored agreement last March,” Abdul Qadir al-Murtadha said in a tweet. “A number of the prisoners’ of war have been agreed upon to be released,” he added .

He called on the United Nations to hold a new round to complete the rest of the steps on the ground, in order to release all prisoners covered by the agreement.
