The US-backed Saudi-led coalition forces and their mercenaries committed 126 violations of the humanitarian and military truce on Friday.
A military source in Sana’a stated that the violations included 35 sorties of armed and spying reconnaissance aircraft over the airspace of the provinces of Ma’rib, Taiz, Hajjah, Jawf, Saada, Dhalea, and Hodeidah and the border fronts.
The source indicated that the armed reconnaissance aircraft of the coalition forces targeted with three air strikes citizens’ homes and the sites of the army and popular committees in the north of Hays district in Hodeidah province.
The source confirmed that 71 violations were recorded by shooting at citizens’ homes and army and popular committee sites in Ma’rib, Taiz, Hajjah, Saada, Dhalea, and Hodeidah and the border fronts, while 17 violations were monitored by artillery bombardment of the coalition forces, on Ma’rib, Saada, Hajjah, and Hodeidah and the border fronts.
The coalition forces have intensively targeted, with artillery, the positions of the army and the popular committees in Al-Balaq Al-Sharqi, Mala’a, Rawdat Jahm and Rawdat Serwah in Ma’rib, in Haradh and Bani Hassan in Hajjah, and in Al-Madafin, Al-Malahidh, and Razih in Saada province, according to the source.
He added that intense artillery shelling also targeted army and committee sites in Al-Jabaliya area of Al-Tuhita district, Northeast and North Hays in Hodeidah and in Maqbana area in Taiz, and sites in Jabal Al-Omda in Najran, as well as a number of mortar shells targeted the positions of the army and popular committees in Wadi Jara in Jizan.
