A Yemeni former minister revealed on Monday an unknown fate of the border agreement between Yemen and Saudi Arabia, signed in Jeddah on June 12, 2000.
The former Minister of Transport in the Aden government and, Saleh al-Jabwani, loyal to Islah Party, said: “If the Republic of Yemen falls and is divided, the border agreement with Saudi Arabia will fall in accordance with paragraph 2 of this agreement.”

“According to the second paragraph of the agreement, it will be legitimate to claim the Houthis or any other government in Sanaa to restore the Yemeni lands, “Najran, Jizan, and Asir,” which are under Saudi control,” Al-Jabwani, who resides in Turkey, said on Twitter.
He indicated that “Mohammed bin Zayed” is seeking to dismantle the kingdom,” in reference to the support provided by the UAE to the “Southern Transitional Council (STC) militias”, which demands the return of Yemen to before the unity on May 22, 1990.
This came after the UAE-funded militia took control over many southern provinces and raised the flags of separation.
