The Saudi forces have on Monday killed a Yemeni fisherman while he was fishing, in a new crime that has shaken the residents of the city of Aden in southern Yemen.
Local media sources said that the Saudi forces deployed in Ma’asheq presidential palace opened fire on the fisherman, who was fishing off the coast of Sira district.
The sources added that the fisherman, named Noah Ibn Ali Qaid, was directly shot by a Saudi military vessel, and died as a result.
Fishermen in Aden province are targeted from time to time by Saudi and Emirati forces and their armed militias, the latest of which was the sinking of a Yemeni fishermen’s boat by fires of a warboat belonging to a UAE-backed militia on July 24.
