Richard Oppenheim, the British ambassador to the coalition-backed government, said on Wednesday he held a meeting with the head of the Sana’a negotiating delegation, Mohammed Abdul Salam, in the Sultanate of Oman.
“I met Mohammed Abdulsalam in Salalah – the meeting was a good opportunity to discuss the armistice, including the reopening of Taiz roads and the payment of civilian salaries and pensions,” Oppenheim affirmed on Twitter.
“Productive discussions with the government of Oman regarding the Yemeni armistice, and I thanked the Omanis for their unwavering commitment to peace in Yemen,” he said.
