Millions of visitors continue to flock to mark the occasion of Arbaeen in Karbala, Iraq. The day of Arbaeen marks forty days after the Day of Ashura, the day Imam Hussain ibn Ali, grandson of the Prophet Muhammad, was killed in the Battle of Karbala.
Local authorities in Karbala said that participants in the marches and rallies to commemorate Imam Hussein could reach up to 20 million visitors, including 3 million from Iran.
The millions of crowds continue to flock from all over the world towards the holy city of Karbala to participate in the Arbaeen ceremony, in order to renew their allegiance and loyalty to the principles of Imam Hussain and his revolutionary struggle
