Mohammed al-Houthi: September 26 Revolution of 1962 was the mother of our Revolution

Member of the Supreme Political Council, Mohammed Ali Al-Houthi, affirmed on Monday that the September 26 revolution is the mother revolution.

“Whoever did not stand with the September Revolution and the Republic is against it, and whoever did not stand in the face of the enemies of the Republic is on the side of its enemies,” said Mohammed Al-Houthi, during his participation in the rhetorical ceremony organized by Hajjah province today on the 60th anniversary of the September 26 revolution.

Mohammed Al-Houthi congratulated the Leader of the Revolution, the President of the Supreme Political Council, the people of the province, and the local authority on the September 26 revolution.

“We are proud of the September 26 revolution, and it had goals that were not achieved, and the distortion in any goal that was not implemented must be evaluated and corrected,” he said.

Al-Houthi continued by saying, “From Hajjah of steadfastness, we came to commemorate with its revolutionaries and sons the revolution day anniversary.”

He confirmed that the true revolutionaries are the sons of the Zaidi sect who reject oppression over time, no matter how mighty it is, and that the spark of the revolution arose from the provinces of Hajjah and Sana’a.

The Supreme Political Council member explained that “the September revolution rejected guardianship, while the mercenaries are looking for it, while the free people of Yemen did not come from the arms of the Kingdom.”

He indicated that the Yemeni people are proud of their army, which paraded in Al-Sabaeen Square and the rest of the provinces, which is an extension of the September 26 revolution.

“We are proud that we are the generation of the September 26 revolution and the sons of the Republic, and we strive to achieve its goals that have rejected tyranny, ignorance and colonialism,” he said, adding that “the sons of the revolution are defending the homeland from Sana’a, not from Riyadh.”

For his part, the governor of Hajjah, Hilal Al-Sufi, clarified that the September 21 revolution is an extension of the September 26 revolution and achieved its goals.

He considered the celebration of this occasion a station for renewing societal awareness and realizing the conspiracies being hatched against Yemen.
