University students in Tehran hold vigils in support of Islamic Republic

Students from Iranian universities of Tehran and Amir Kabir in the capital, Tehran, on Sunday organized vigils at both universities, during which they expressed their condemnation of the recent riots in the country.

The students waved Iran’s flags, denouncing the practices of riotous elements including insulting religious and national sanctities, damaging public property and destabilizing security and stability within society.

In a related context, university students in the province of Bushehr (south of the country) organized a similar vigil, during which they denounced the recent sedition moves and the attack by evil elements on the security and property of citizens.
