The UAE-backed Sothern Transitional Council (STC)’s militia continued on Saturday to suppress celebrations held in the occupied territories on the anniversary of October 14 revolution.

In Abyan province, local sources reported that the transitional militia stormed an official event on the anniversary of October 14 Revolution, held at the governorate building in Zunjbar city.

The sources explained that those present at the event were forced to leave the governorate building, after fistfights broke out.

In addition, forces loyal to UAE occupation launched a wide campaign of arrests against dozens of citizens on the island of Socotra, after they went out to celebrate the anniversary of October 14 revolution.

The sources explained that elements of the transitional militia warned the Islanders not to celebrate or hear anti-colonial British national anthems.
