Violent clashes erupted on Monday between the UAE-backed militia and tribal gunmen in Abyan province, southern Yemen.
Local sources stated that the confrontations broke out between the elements of the so-called “security belt” loyal to the UAE and gunmen from Al Shama’a tribe, against the background of raising the flag of the Yemeni unity in a car they were traveling in Al-Mahfad area.
