A little girl was killed and four others were injured on Wednesday when an explosive device went off in a military vehicle in center of Taiz city, southwest Yemen.

Informed sources said that unidentified gunmen detonated an explosive device in a military vehicle of Islah Party militants in Qubbat Al-Ma’swar area, which was parking in front of a restaurant. As a result, a girl was killed and four others, including a woman and a child, who happened to pass from the street at the moment of the explosion.

The sources confirmed that the girl died as a result of being hit by a fatal shrapnel in the head, while the wounded were taken to a hospital.
