At least six civilians, including restaurant workers were injured in an explosion that rocked Yemen’s southern port city of Aden, which is under the control of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC).
This was reported by Yemen News Portal on Tuesday, based on testimonies of local sources.
According to the sources, the explosion took place at a popular restaurant in Khormaksar district, east of Aden, followed by a massive fire.
“Six people were injured in the blast, including four restaurant workers who were taken to the Jumhuriya Hospital, in addition to causing extensive material damages, one of the sources said.
The sources did not give any details explaining the causes of the explosion, which comes amid a terrible security chaos in Aden.
