Israeli missile systems deployed in UAE

The Zionist missile defense systems are helping The United Arab Emirates (UAE) to repel the threat of drones, a Saudi researcher and activist quoted the Hebrew newspaper Haaretz reporting.

In a tweet, the Saudi researcher and activist “Fahad Al-Ghofaili” noted to the Emirati fear of the attacks of the Yemeni army and popular committees, stressing that “Bin Zayed has become under the protection of his masters “Zionists”.

According to the paper, Satellite photos published over the weekend divulged one of the Middle East’s best-kept secrets: Israel has delivered a battery of the Barak missiles it makes to the United Arab Emirates, which have been deployed around Abu Dhabi. These Israeli air defense systems are intended to defend the UAE against the threat of Yemeni army drones.

Israeli occupation and the UAE have signed a raft of deals in various areas, including aviation, financial services and tourism, since they reached a controversial US-brokered normalization agreement in August 2020.
