A citizen was killed and another was injured on Tuesday when a cluster bomb left over by the US-backed Saudi-led coalition exploded in Al-Mahjaza area in Sirwah district of Ma’rib province.
A local source in the province explained the cluster bomb explosion in the Al-Mahjaza area killed the citizen, Abdulmajeed Mohsen Al-Mawadi, and injured another civilian.
The source pointed out that the remnants of the coalition cluster bombs and mines had caused many casualties among civilians, calling on the competent authorities to move to clean the district of the remnants of war.
