Southern Yemen Movement condemns US interference in Hadhramaut province

The Southern Movement known as Al-Hirak on Friday warned about the consequences of American visits to Hadhramaut Governorate as it faces popular, mass and tribal rejection, accusing  the US ambassador to Yemen, Stephen Fagin, of violating the country’s national sovereignty.

In a statement, the Southern Movement, which is currently based in Mahrah, described the US interventions as blatant, which revealed the US intentions to prolong the war on Yemen, warning against those steps that violate national sovereignty because of their hidden ambitions to control natural resources.

The statement called on the southern patriotic components to reject the suspicious American moves and their ambitions in the southern strategic locations.
