Two UAE mercenaries killed in Abyan bomb attack

At least two militia members of the so-called “Security belt” of the UAE-backed Southern Transitional Council (STC) were killed and seven others wounded in a bomb attack targeted their vehicle in Abyan province, southern Yemen.

The sources indicated that the wounded were transferred to Lodar Hospital for treatment, while others, in critical condition, were transferred to Aden.

This comes after the commander of the so-called “emergency” in the security belt, Fahd Al-Marfadi, and the commander of a battalion in the 3rd backing Brigade, Samir Al-Mashushi, survived an assassination by an explosive device in Al-Mahfad area, which resulted in the injury of two of their escorts.
