US threatens even more aggression against Yemen

The United States of America on Tuesday again began beating the drums of a new war against Yemen, with threats made by the US ambassador from the port city of Aden, southern Yemen.

The ambassador Steven Fagin, following his meeting with the head of the government loyal to Saudi-led coalition, Moein Abdulmalik, threatened to tighten the siege on the Yemeni people and prevent the entry of fuel.

Media quoted Fagin as saying “the attacks on the oil ports will only lead to the exacerbation of the fuel shortage crisis.”

The US ambassador threatened with new escalation to undermine what he described as support and relief efforts, trying to defend his visit to Aden.
