A member of Ansarullah’s Political Bureau, Ali Al-Qahoum, said that the UN envoy’s briefing excused the shedding of Yemeni blood under the banner of humanitarianism.
Ali Al-Qahoum responded on Twitter to Hans Grundberg’s speech to the UN Security Council. Al-Qahoum stated that Grundberg’s statement contained both misinformation and fraud, and that the UN envoy’s Saudi and Emirati funders skewed his perception of the conflict.
He claimed that Grundberg was equating the victim with the executioner, and that he painted the resistance as the aggressors.

Al-Qahoum noted that while the UN envoy described America and Britain as arbiters of peace, they are actually clearly aggressive belligerents driving the coalition’s war and siege against Yemen.
