Member of the Political Bureau of Ansarullah, Mohammad Al-Bukhaiti, said that the US-Saudi aggression falsified the facts in its aggression against Yemen in an unprecedented way in history.
“The countries involved in aggression called the armies of the foreign occupiers the liberators, the defenders of their country the occupiers, their mercenaries the resistance, and the government they appointed the legitimate government,” Al-Bukhaiti said on his Twitter account on Saturday.
Saudi Arabia, backed by the United States and regional allies, launched the war on Yemen in March 2015, with the claim of bringing the government of former Yemeni president Abd Rabbuh Mansour Hadi back to power.
The war has left hundreds of thousands of Yemenis dead, and displaced millions more. It has also destroyed Yemen’s infrastructure and spread famine and infectious diseases there.
